Main Application of Feed Pellet Cooler

Adopting the air counterflow working principle, The counterflow pellet cooler is used for cooling the feed pellets just coming out from the animal feed pelletizer. The feed pellet cooler can cool down the hot feed pellets from 80 – 90℃ to about 3-5℃ above ambient temperature. The cool air flow could bring away the moisture around the wood pellets thus make the feed pellets dryer. The capacity of the counterflow pellet cooler varies from 3-20t/h, suitable for cooling feed pellets in large and medium scale animal feed pellet plants. It can also be used to cool wood pellets or other granular materials.

★ The main parts of the counterflow pellet cooler are: the rotary distributor, the cooling room, the pendulum discharger.
★ Rotary Distributor: With the rotary distributor, the pellets can be cooled evenly in the bin room. Using the pendulum discharger, Smoothly gently discharge can be achieved.
★ Cooling Room: The cooling process applies the counter flow cooling principle. Cooling air reverse the pellets and the pellet is cooled from the bottom to top gradually, thus the cooling time is increased. this will do good to the production of high quality pellets and to extend the time of pellets storage.
